Composite Fillings

Call 916.452.7874

All of our composite restorations are BPA-free!

Reasons for composite fillings:

  • Chipped teeth.
  • Closing space between two teeth.
  • Cracked or broken teeth.
  • Decayed teeth.
  • Worn teeth.
  • Replacement of old, worn amalgam fillings.
Dr Phillips utilizes the latest in decay removal to make your visit as comfortable as possible. In many cases you won't even need to be numb! For shallow decay a technique called air abrasion can be used, read more about it below.
Air Abrasion:
  • Air abrasion works like a tiny sandblaster. Compressed air and an abrasive powder wear decay off your tooth.
  •  One advantage of air abrasion is that you don't hear any noise or feel any vibration.
  • Most procedures can be done without anesthesia or needles.
  • Drill-less dentistry.
  • Creates a high quality surface for bonding composites, veneers, etc.
  • The pinpoint accuracy is precise enough that your dentist can leave behind as much healthy tooth structure as possible, allowing you to keep your own teeth longer.

We combine experience with the latest in dental technology to deliver the best patient experience possible.
