Pops in the Park & Screen on the Green

We love being involved with Pops in the Park! Each Saturday evening in June the local parks in East Sacramento become the place to be for families, friends and music-lovers. The summer concert series is an event that invites everyone to come out and enjoy free entertainment while supporting the community. We had a booth this year and had such a great time, we can't wait for next year!

Screen on the Green continues the summer fun with a series of outdoor movie screenings in August. Again, we are also happy to sponsor this family-friendly event. We look forward to seeing you on the green in August!

Remote Area Medical Volunteer

We are proud to participate with Remote Area Medical Clinic (RAM). This year both doctors, Phillips and Dunn, along with one of our hygienists Jennifer, volunteered their time and knowledge to help uninsured patients from across the Sacramento region. The four-day clinic offers free vision, dental and medical care, all donated by area doctors. It was estimated that 3,500 patients received free medical care this year.

Smiles For Life

From March through June, Dr. Paul Phillips and team are participating with dentists throughout California and across the country to raise money for seriously ill, disabled, and underprivileged children here in Sacramento and around the world. In partnership with the Smiles For Life Foundation we’re offering substantially discounted, professional teeth whitening with 100 percent of the proceeds going to charity!

Half of the money raised through our office will go to The UC Davis MIND Institute, and the other half to the Smiles For Life Foundation, which supports over 500 children’s charities worldwide.

The UC Davis MIND Institute is a collaborative international research center, committed to the awareness, understanding, prevention, care, and cure of neurodevelopmental disorders. Our donations support the research of chromosome 22q11.2 deletion syndrome, a disorder affecting 1 in every 4,000 children.  This disorder has the potential to disrupt the development of almost every system in a child's body and can cause a wide range of health problems.  At the MIND Institute,  patients and their families find an excellent team of  faculty and health care professionals conducting cutting edge research and offering support, knowledge, and most importantly, hope.

Everyone in Sacramento can get a great deal on safe, professional teeth whitening and help a child in need at the same time!

Dr. Phillips is a part of the Crown Council, a prestigious alliance of over 1,000 leading-edge dental practices strongly committed to promoting oral health and serving their communities through charitable work. “Smiles for Life is about giving back”, said Gregory Anderson, chairman of the Crown Council. “It allows people to help children everywhere.”

Crown Council Dentists have raised over $27 million

for 500 Charities worldwide!

You don’t have to live in Sacramento, or already be a East Sac Dental patient to participate in Smiles For Life teeth whitening! All you have to do is give us a call today to set-up an appointment and help support this amazing cause.

East Sacramento Garden Tour

Each year David Lubin Elementary presents the East Sac Garden Tour. It has become a tradition in the community, and we are proud to sponsor the tour this year.

Benefits from the tour support the ever expanding enrichment and academic programs at David Lubin Elementary School.

The mission of the school is to create an inclusive school community, a community which values its school’s diversity of languages, cultures, religions, learning styles and socioeconomics levels.

Smiles For Kids

In addition to Smiles for Life, East Sac Dental is proud to  participate in Smiles For Kids each winter. Usually held in January, this event provides children from disadvantaged backgrounds with free dental treatment. The children are then 'adopted' by different offices throught the Placer, El Dorado, Amador, Yolo, and Sacramento counties for continued care.

Since Smiles For Kids began in 1991...
